Hi,

It's Tinashe again .

As a division 1 tennis player, I read Andre Agassi's autobiography. "Open". Great book.

He describes his mental state when he was at the top of his game. The man would show up to a match, look at his opponent and say in his mind: "Why did this guy even show up? You know there's zero chance of winning. You're about to get destroyed".

And then he whooped them.

I get that same feeling whenever a local business owner asks me for help.

Because I know how to win in that arena. Every single time. I've done it in my own business and now I'm doing it for clients.

Think about this.

If you run a business on a national level you're usually competing against companies with entire marketing divisions. These people get up every day thinking about how to "outmarket" the competition.

If you run a business on a local level you're mostly competing against guys doing their job. Everyone knows that marketing is important and SHOULD be a priority... but there's sooooo many things that are also a priority. So it normally goes on the backburner.

That's why it's such a slamdunk opportunity to work with local businesses. Once you bring in someone that's exclusively focused on marketing it's suddenly really easy to beat the competition. And the edge just gets bigger and bigger with every week that goes by.

So moral of the story, pick your battles and choose the ones you can win. Builds momentum, builds confidence, builds revenue.

People have always and will always like and want to work with winners.

Talk soon,

Tee
