Then formula that changed my mentor's life

Hi,
It's Tee. My mentor shared with me what some people would call a parable, and it would be illegal for me not to share that lesson with you guys.
15 years ago, my mentor struggled with marketing his own local business. It's one of the very few things he claims has ever kept him up at night.
He knew there had to be some sort of formula, but for the life of him, he couldn't figure it out. Ended up traveling all over the entire world to figure out how this whole marketing thing actually worked.
When he landed in Chicago he talked to a guy doing very well in scaling local businesses, we'll call him John for the purpose of this story. Now, John had a simple formula that he was willing to share because -in his words- 'everyone that hears it says that it makes sense... but no one actually takes the time to do it'.
It's one of those things you can sketch on the back of a napkin. That's exactly what John did.
The man wrote down 5 words:
Offer + audience + medium = more sales
In expansion...
Put together a solid offer.
Find a way to reach your target audience.
Pick a medium to spread your message.
Do that, tinker with these components/parts, and you'll kill it with your local business.
So he decided to go back and do exactly that. Took him about a year to get all the parts together. And that one thing completely tripled his business.
It was incredible. Almost doesn't even sound real. All of a sudden, he'd fixed the feast or famine problem. Never once ran out of leads. If he needed more leads, he'd just open the faucet a little bit more, and voila - they were off to the races again.
And to this day, 15 years later, he STILL uses this formula. He then taught me because it works obviously, and now I use it!
It's worked for 5000 years. Will work for the next 5000 years.

P.S. He knows this was 15 years ago because his first son was born right around that time. The man has 3 sons now, and so much has changed (except for sales and marketing)
Figure out an offer, reach the right audience, make it easy for them to say yes, and sell more product.
Has been the same for 5000 years, and it'll still be the same 5000 years from now.
