The Sales Presentation Review

Was talking to an old client of mine recently. We covered something you may find interesting.

We were going over his sales presentation. Seeing if there's room for improvement.

Man poured his heart into it. Went all out. Deserved a whole orchestra and some standing ovations for his efforts.

...

So we get to the end and he asked me the big question: "so, what do you think?"

That's when I had to tell him in a semi-polite way "yeah... it kinda sucks. But good thing is we'll make it wayyy better"

No One Cares About Our Stuff

Don't get me wrong.

The presentation was beautiful. Well organized. Intricate. Covered alllll the bases.

But here's the major problem that EVERY business owner faces.

No one cares about our stuff nearly as much as WE care about our stuff.

WE care about how the sausage is made. WE care how much work we put in. WE care about the effort we go through. All the steps we DON'T skip.

But our clients? They genuinely don't care. They only care IF it works. Not HOW it works.

Focus On Proving Your Solution Works

Sales presentations should ALWAYS and ONLY be focused on proving that your thing works.

Forget the details. No one cares about details. We only care about results.

Probably best to double-check your sales presentation and keep this in mind.
